Create and inspect a scoped backup Backup and Restore creates an offline copy of transaction activity and its referenced lists. This Early Alpha example covers October on an accrual basis. Choose the scope and create the backup file. The completed backup contains twenty-one transactions and forty-eight rows, plus sixty referenced list records. Download the CSV files, with options to split them by transaction or list type. File Analysis summarizes the transaction types, date coverage, and debit and credit totals. Use these checks to understand what the file contains, then open Financials for a comparison. Financials places the backup beside QuickBooks and highlights account-level differences. Review the comparison period, opening balances, and any differences before relying on a restore.
