Build date-based journal entry numbers

JE Num Editor loads journal entries together so you can maintain their numbers as a batch. Filter the entries you want, select them, and open Batch.

Use a date tag in the number, then append a padded counter. Here the counter restarts for each month. Click Preview Changes to review the proposed numbers.

The preview lists each current number beside its replacement, such as A D J, zero three twenty-six, zero zero one. Existing journal numbers have been checked. Review the statuses before applying the batch.
